8/20/2008 Hi Dwight, We bought our pop up from Camping World in Bath, NY and it was a mistake. And you can use the following statement to show your future customers: "We are very very sorry we ever did business with Camping World. While the price was acceptable, since we signed the purchase agreement the customer service has been deplorable! From the time we inspected the camper to when they delivered it (one week) certain pieces went missing. These include the counter top that covers the whole left behind when you remove the stove, the jack handle/bar that is neccessary to properly set-up the camper, and the tie-down lines and stakes for the awning. Not only did those pieces magically disappear but when I asked about them during our final walk through I was told "well you don't need them anyway"; which is completely wrong. Also, we paid for a screen room to go with our awning. It took 3 weeks after we ordered it for this to come in, and when it finally did my husband had to go sit in their waiting room for 5 hours just so they could tell us they ordered the wrong one. That was 6 weeks ago (a total of 9 weeks and counting), and they still don't have our screen room in yet. Even after I informed the salesman from Ballantyne that we had purchased elsewhere, he continued to provide better customer service than Camping World did even before the sale. As a customer of their competition, I strongly urge you to do your business with Ballantyne. I know in the future I certainly will!" What else can I say? We went with Camping World because they had the camper we wanted when we wanted it. That definitely won't be happening again. Good luck and thanks for all your help.
